Building pages in Niice comes down to a few basics: Absolutely everything is a block (from text and images, to buttons and folders), and you can switch between block mode to manage and rearrange blocks, and edit mode to edit the content within them.
Every page in Niice is built on an invisible grid, where all of your content—text, images, embeds, even things like dropdown menus, buttons and folders—is considered a “block”. Think of each block as a rectangle with its own space on the page that you can edit and arrange any way you like.
Just like a document, text flows onto the next line when it reaches the edge, blocks in Niice reflow to fit the space they’re given. On wide screens they might sit side by side, but as the space gets smaller they’ll wrap and stack so your layout always stays clear and easy to read, on all screen sizes.
As we’ve said, everything you add to a page is a block—text, images, folders, buttons, you name it. Here’s everything you can do with them:
To select a block, click it once and you’ll see a bounding box appear around it. If blocks are grouped, just click again to drill down until you reach the exact block you want. Once a block is “active”, you can move it, style it, or open its block actions.
Double-click a text block to switch from block mode into edit mode. Your cursor will appear, and you can type or edit text just like in any other editor. Once you’re in edit mode, you only need to click once into another text block to keep writing. To exit, just click on the white space in the page margins or press ESC on your keyboard.
You can easily drag blocks around to change the order and layout of your page. As you click and drag to move a block, drop zones will appear to show exactly where it’ll be moved to. If a block contains other nested blocks, dragging the parent block will move everything inside it too.
Blocks can be configured and styled to match your brand. Create themes by uploading your brand fonts and colors for text, and get into the nitty gritty by choosing whether you’d like square or rounded corners for your buttons, or which options you’d like to be visible on a folder block.

Click a block once and you’ll see a ‘…’ menu appear to its left, where you can access all block actions.
