Learn about what you can do from the toolbar.
The toolbar gives an editor a quick shortcut to things like the manage access page, version history, the properties panel, and the preview/edit switcher.
Preview mode lets you view your page without any edit UI and it “locks” the content so you can’t make changes—It’s super useful if you’ve just finished up some work and you’d like to see how it would look as read-only. Click on the pencil icon to switch to edit mode and vice versa.
Here’s an overview of what you can do from the toolbar:
The avatars at the top let you know who is viewing the page with you.
The people icon opens the Manage Access panel, where you can invite people to your page, or to the entire Site. Use the quick links below to learn more about managing access:
The insert menu gives you a shortcut to your templates. If you click on a template, it will be added just below where your cursor is focused on the page.
The switcher icon gives you quick access to the Properties Panel, where you can access more advanced styling options.
View the version history panel to preview past versions of your page, add details or notes about particular versions, or restore a version.
Clicking on the sidebar icon will open or close the sidebar.
Gives admins quick links to account settings and the admin dashboard.
